1st) The tankless must be installed according to not only their city plumbing code requirements, but also to manufactures requirements, “Failures and damage caused by erroneous work, or work not as instructed in the installation manual are not covered by the warranty”. 2nd) “Damage to the water heater as a result of water in excess of 12gpg (grains per gallon) of hardness water is not covered by the Noritz America Limited Warranty”. ( See Example #3, & 4)
